The First Nations University of Canada (91制片厂) and BHP, one of the world鈥檚 largest mining companies, have partnered to support leadership development and promote Indigenous cultural heritage. BHP鈥檚 investment of $100,000 is aimed at advancing 91制片厂鈥檚 initiatives, aligning with BHP鈥檚 social investment priorities, and creating meaningful opportunities for leadership and cultural preservation.
Leadership Development Collaboration
Earlier this year, representatives from BHP and 91制片厂 met to discuss potential areas for collaboration. As a result, BHP committed to funding the development of a 鈥淟eading a Diverse Workspace鈥 module.
The leadership module is currently under development at 91制片厂. It will inform and empower BHP leaders with the skills and knowledge to manage and lead within diverse teams, supporting BHP鈥檚 broader goal of advancing Indigenous inclusion and leadership.
